Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a Junior AUTOSAR Software Engineer (Safety) to join our automotive platform engineering team in Kraków. You will contribute to Zone Controller Platform development, working with C and AUTOSAR Classic, with exposure to safety-focused processes.

You’ll be supported by experienced engineers while you implement, configure, test, and debug embedded software, and gain experience across MISRA-C, ASPICE, and automotive CAN/LIN/Ethernet basics.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in C programming for microcontrollers and real-time systems.
• Experience with embedded software development.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Understanding of ASPICE and ISO 26262 principles.
• Basic AUTOSAR concepts are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write, modify, and maintain embedded C software components per design and MISRA-C guidelines.
• Assist in configuring AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules, MCAL drivers, and interfaces.
• Run unit tests and assist with debugging on target hardware.
• Document unit designs and test results to show ASPICE compliance.
• Fix simple defects and participate in code reviews and version control.

Junior AUTOSAR Software Engineer (Safety) IRC307463

We are looking for a Junior AUTOSAR Software Engineer to join our automotive platform engineering team and contribute to the development of a Zone Controller Platform. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in embedded software development who have a solid foundation in C programming and an interest in automotive safety and AUTOSAR Classic architecture. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will develop your skills in embedded software implementation, configuration, testing, and debugging.

Requirements

• Educational & Practical Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or equivalent practical project experience.
• Core C Programming: Solid foundational proficiency in C programming for microcontrollers and real-time systems.
• Embedded Architecture Fundamentals: Understanding of microcontroller architecture (registers, memory mapping, interrupts, timers, ADC, SPI, UART).
• Automotive Basics: Conceptual understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet) and basic AUTOSAR architecture principles.
• Toolchain Familiarity: Basic experience using version control systems (Git), software debuggers, and IDEs.
• Process Awareness: Basic understanding of software engineering lifecycles and quality standards (ASPICE / ISO 26262 principles).

Job responsibilities

• Software Implementation: Write, modify, and maintain embedded C software components according to design specifications and MISRA-C guidelines.
• AUTOSAR Stack Configuration Support: Assist senior developers in configuring AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules, MCAL drivers, and software component interfaces.
• Unit Testing & Bench Debugging: Execute unit tests (ASPICE SWE.4), run static analysis tools, and assist with initial software debugging on hardware target boards.
• Documentation & Process Compliance: Document software unit designs and test results to ensure compliance with ASPICE software development standards.
• Defect Fixing & Version Control: Resolve basic software tickets, participate in peer code reviews, and commit code updates through version control pipelines.
