The Junior AP Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AP processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This position reports directly to the Accounting Team Leader and collaborates with various departments to support the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing vendor invoices, ensuring correct data entry, proper coding, and compliance with company policies.
• Support in matching purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices, helping to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in reconciling vendor statements and follow up on pending items.
• Help with month-end closing tasks, including AP-related reports and reconciliations.
• Review basic employee expense reports and support reimbursement processing.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to gather missing information and resolve simple inquiries.
• Maintain AP documentation and ensure files are organized and up to date.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic professional experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance (internships or 6-12 months experience).
• Fluency in English and Polish
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and interest in further developing AP knowledge.
• Familiarity with Excel and ability to learn accounting software.
