Job summary

Provectus is seeking a senior AI Engineer to join a small, senior pod and contribute to real delivery work across AI components, data pipelines, and backend services. You will work with FDE/FDX and Senior AI Engineers, helping teams deliver Claude, Bedrock, and other AI engagements.

You will collaborate across distributed teams, contribute to tests and evaluation, and grow into independent ownership while maintaining a focus on production-grade systems and cost-aware deployment.

Qualifications

• Proactive, self-directed, and capable of working with ambiguity.
• 2+ years in software or ML engineering, including production systems.
• Strong English communication for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and contribute to RAG system components under senior guidance.
• Write tests and assist in evaluation harnesses for features.
• Develop production code across AI, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Integrate AI components into backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Support deployment to AWS with containerization and CI/CD.
• Contribute to documentation and client handover materials.
• Participate in architectural decisions and take ownership over time.
