Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Java backend.
• Participation in at least three projects as a Java developer.
• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Job description

For an international retail client, we are conducting a comprehensive modernization of the retail platform. We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to support the team in migrating the system to a containerized architecture and further developing the solution.

Your tasks

• Migration of the existing sales system to a new architecture based on containers (Docker/Kubernetes) with a UI layer in JavaFX
• Design and implementation of new functionalities according to analytical and architectural specifications
• Maintenance and development of the current platform: analyzing bugs, introducing fixes, optimizing performance
• Close cooperation with developers, architects, analysts and testers
• Creating and updating technical documentation
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Java backend and participation in at least three projects in this role
• Very good knowledge of the Java and Spring ecosystem
• Experience working with container solutions (Docker, Kubernetes basics)
• Knowledge of design patterns, system integration and monitoring issues
• Ability to work in a team and be communicative
• English at an advanced level
• Fluency in Polish required
• Residency in Poland required
