Job summary

CDQ AG & CDQ GmbH in Wroclaw is seeking an experienced Team Lead (Java) to mentor and develop a small, 3–5-person backend team while owning the technical quality of the systems you build and operate. You will lead with a product mindset, influence solution direction, and coordinate work with limited meetings.

The ideal candidate has a strong Java backend background, several years of leadership or coordination experience, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach that values knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Strong background in backend development using modern Java technologies.
• Several years of professional experience in leadership or coordinating engineers.
• Ability to organise and coordinate the team’s work and make technical decisions.
• Interest in data and databases is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3–5 person teams with a limited number of meetings.
• Spend time with your team, making technical decisions and supporting people’s development.
