Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG Poland is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to contribute to Core Prime Brokerage platform development using Java/Kotlin, and to advance CI/CD practices with automated testing.

You will work with a global team, mentor juniors, participate in design and estimation, and help ensure system reliability in a hybrid environment (up to 2 days remote per week) with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Prime Brokerage Technology provides solutions that underpin the operations of our clients and traders that provide the foundation of our Prime Finance business. This is an area of great opportunity and is a major growth target for Citi – with technology providing the key to unlock this potential.

Responsibilities

Technical Experience

Java & Test-Driven Development are essential.

Experience in any number of additional technologies (listed below) is advantageous:

• Kotlin Cloud Technologies (Kubernetes, Open Shift)
• Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Solace, TIBCO)
• Database / Data Store / Data Query Technologies (SQL Server, Trino, Mongo, S3)
• Observability Technologies (OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack / ELK, Grafana)

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
