The Opportunity

As a Java Developer in Banking, you will participate in various streams of Banking platform implementation projects, collaborate with agile team members in order to achieve project and client goals, and be a part of Business Banking Transformations. Your Key Responsibilities

Work as a Java Developer to contribute to various streams of implementation in Banking projects:

• Collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and client goals
• Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into designs
• Code, test, debug, and document software applications
• Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Excellent knowledge of Java supported by 2+ years of professional experience
• Familiar with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA, and Maven
• Hands-on experience working with REST and SOAP web services
• Very good knowledge of SQL and one of the database engines
• Excellent knowledge of Git
• Good English language verbal and written communication
• Experience working in international projects

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or other Technical qualification
• 3+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar position
• Demonstrable experience of Java and frameworks commonly used in Java projects
• 3+ years of Banking experience

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage
• Knowledge of Camunda Platform is an advantage
• Hands-on experience working with microservices architecture
• Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud products and services
• Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS, or Azure Cloud
• Experience in agile / scrum methodology
