Job summary

TechBiz Global GmbH is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join a remote-based team. You will contribute to Java applications, APIs, and backend services using Spring Framework, and write clean, efficient SQL queries. English communication is essential as you collaborate with product and QA teams.

Responsibilities include design, development, testing, and maintenance of Java-based solutions, participating in code reviews, and continuously improving code quality through feedback and best practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven professional experience with Java development.
• Solid understanding of OOP, analysis and design principles, including common design patterns.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with the Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Support the development of backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and senior developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.
• Contribute to database-related tasks, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Take part in code reviews and learn from feedback to continuously improve code quality.

This is a remote position only from Armenia, Georgia and Turkey.

• 1+ years of hands-on software development experience
