Job summary

Ubique Systems in Kraków seeks an experienced Java backend engineer to design and build intelligent digital products and services with AI at the core. You will apply modern engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing features to automated testing, deployment, and observability, while ensuring quality, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot, including Spring Batch and Spring Cloud.
• Proficiency in REST API and GraphQL schema design.
• Experience with NoSQL data modelling (Cosmos DB), data streaming (Kafka), and auth protocols (OAuth 2.0, Entra ID).
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Monitor, API Management).
• Excellent collaborative communication in English for diverse audiences in Agile teams.
• Commitment to quality, maintainability, and documentation.
• AI-related skills such as Spring AI or LangChain are a strong plus.

Collaborative communication skills: able to express ideas clearly in English and adapt technical content for diverse audiences while working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers in agile settings.

Strong commitment to quality, maintainability, documentation, and continuous learning.
