Job summary

AMD ODC Poland Team in Kraków is seeking an IT Specialist with a passion for hardware, ML, graphics and high‑performance computing to join the rapidly growing team.

You will support the team and the local IT infrastructure, including maintenance of the performance lab, administration of the local network and hardware (firewall, NAS, servers, host/target development systems), and the setup and configuration of software and hardware.

Qualifications

• Hardware installation and maintenance experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient English (C1+).

AMD ODC Poland Team is looking for a capable IT Specialist with passion for hardware, ML, graphics and high-performance computing to join the rapidly growing team in Gdansk.

As an IT Specialist, you will support our efforts in shaping the future of discrete GPUs, ML and 3D graphics and have a hands-on experience with state-of-the‑art hardware.

Your responsibilities will be supporting the team and the local IT infrastructure. That includes:

• Maintenance of our performance lab,
• Administration of our local network and hardware infrastructure (firewall, NAS, servers, host/target development systems, etc.)
• Software and hardware setup and configuration,
• Management of our local HW resources,

What is relevant to have

• Hardware installation and maintenance,
• Great problem-solving skills,
• Very good command of English (C1+).

What is relevant to have

• Familiarity with a scripting language, e.g. Python, Perl, etc.,
• Overall knowledge of 3D graphics and rendering techniques,
• Acquaintance with HW testing and optimization.
