IT Quality Leader (CORE Project)

As an IT Quality Leader for the CORE Project, you will help ensure the integrity and effectiveness of our IT systems. You will be responsible for control design and implementation, processing SOC reports from suppliers, summarising key issues, and collaborating with system owners to manage remediation activities. You will engage with audit teams and stakeholders globally, including within the US timezone, delivering process and control information for audit scoping and maintaining documentation and evidence for ICS controls. You will coordinate GISC operations, drive simplification, and act as a Contract Management SME for MSPs and System Owners. Your expertise will support Bayer Financial Audits and contribute to implementing GISC principles.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Process SOC reports from suppliers, ensuring completeness and accuracy based on a checklist
  • Control design and implementation
  • Summarise key issues and findings from SOC reports, identifying areas of concern and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with system owners to track and manage remediation activities based on SOC findings
  • Engage with audit teams and stakeholders to address queries related to audit scoping and remediation
  • Deliver process and control information for audit scoping to auditors, ensuring comprehensive coverage
  • Quarterly update of training status and populate the Training Dashboard for GISC
  • Update BEAT GISC portfolio based on new RAL and RISL data
  • Maintain Global GISC SharePoint / Teams Channel / Viva Engage Channel and publish Governance and Guidance
  • Ensure delivery of performance evidence for ICS controls, maintaining documentation and evidence
  • Coordinate GISC operations across the ecosystem, organising monitoring and QA
  • Drive simplification while maintaining effectiveness
  • Organise and moderate GPM-MSP alignment meetings monthly
  • Act as Contract Management SME for MSPs and SOs on all GISC topics
  • Train new stakeholders in all GISC topics
  • Perform walkthroughs and support Bayer Financial Audits
Who You Are

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

  • Education in medical, pharmaceutical, natural science, or IT with a university degree
  • Professional experience (3–5 years) in Quality, Risk Management, or Financial Accounting
  • English proficiency at least C1 level, both written and spoken
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage)
  • GRC system knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
