Qualifikationen

• We are seeking 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, and/or architecture.
• Strong experience designing and operating AWS environments.
• Solid Kubernetes architecture expertise.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.
• Azure experience and Polish language skills are a strong advantage.
• Experience with TOGAF or similar frameworks is welcome.
• Terraform, IaC, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices are beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Lead design and review of AWS-hosted infrastructure solutions, including cloud networking, segmentation, connectivity, and landing zone architecture.
• Collaborate with Azure for identity and enterprise integration, and support hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Architect Kubernetes platform including cluster infra, networking, ingress/egress, segmentation, resilience, observability, and security.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation using the C4 model, along with high/low-level docs and decisions.
• Promote secure, reusable architecture patterns and Zero Trust concepts in partnership with Security teams.
• Contribute to major incident and problem management, including RCA and coordination during out-of-hours.
• Adopt a DevOps mindset with knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Terraform as an advantage.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to provide architecture leadership for cloud hosting capabilities, with a primary focus on AWS. For this position, the most important areas of expertise are AWS and Kubernetes, while experience with Azure and Polish language skills are highly valued and would be considered a strong advantage. Strong English communication skills are essential.

You will design and govern infrastructure solutions across their full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through architecture approval and transition to operations. You will ensure that solutions align with Eurofins architecture standards, security requirements and enterprise design patterns.

You will join an experienced Infrastructure Support Crew and work closely with Infrastructure and Application Architects, Security teams and other stakeholders. The role is primarily focused on architecture and design authority, with limited hands‑on engineering, while also including participation in major incident and problem management.

Your responsibilities

You will lead the design and review of AWS‑hosted infrastructure solutions, including cloud networking, segmentation, connectivity and landing zone architecture. You will work with Azure, particularly around enterprise identity and integration, and support hybrid connectivity between cloud and corporate environments.

A key part of the role will be Kubernetes platform architecture, covering cluster infrastructure, networking, ingress/egress, segmentation, resilience, observability and security.

You will create and maintain architecture documentation using the C4 model, together with HLD/LLD documentation and architecture decisions. You will promote secure and reusable architecture patterns, including Zero Trust principles, and work with Security and other stakeholders to define appropriate solutions.

You will also support major incident and problem management, including root‑cause analysis and critical incident coordination as part of the out‑of‑hours manager pool. A DevOps mindset is expected, with an understanding of Infrastructure as Code and Terraform considered an advantage.

Qualifications

We are looking for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, and/or architecture. The most important requirements for this role are strong experience designing and operating AWS environments and solid Kubernetes architecture expertise. Strong English communication skills are essential, as you will regularly collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

You should be comfortable working within enterprise architecture governance frameworks and be able to clearly communicate complex technical concepts. Experience with the C4 model and architecture documentation is important.

Experience with Azure, particularly in the areas of identity management and enterprise integration, would be highly valued. Polish language skills would also be considered a strong advantage.

Knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices would be beneficial. Experience in security‑sensitive or highly regulated environments, familiarity with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks, and relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications are also welcome.
