Division: Group Business Solutions (GBS)

Are you a skilled IT Business Analyst with 3 to 6 years of experience, ready to take on a pivotal role in delivering IT solutions that power the heart of Euroclear's financial infrastructure? We are looking for a proactive and delivery‑driven IT Business Analyst to join our team within Group Business Solutions (GBS), supporting critical systems used in our clearing house and settlement services.

This role requires strong capabilities in IT delivery, requirements gathering, and solution validation. You will collaborate closely with both IT and business stakeholders, ensuring the solutions you help design and test are robust, scalable, and aligned with operational and regulatory demands.

Your Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will work at the intersection of business needs and IT capabilities. You will be responsible for translating complex requirements into actionable IT deliverables, ensuring alignment with the broader architecture and business objectives. You will also play a key role in system testing and validation. You will be particularly involved in initiatives related to clearing house services, and a solid understanding of this domain will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the end‑to‑end business analysis process: from eliciting and documenting detailed requirements to ensuring successful IT delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT teams, translating business objectives into functional specifications and technical designs.
  • Contribute actively to system testing phases, including test case definition, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution follow‑up.
  • Ensure full traceability from requirements through delivery and post‑implementation validation.
  • Support the business in defining features, epics, and user stories, ensuring completeness and clarity.
  • Assist project managers and development teams in refining scope, prioritising features, and planning delivery sprints.
  • Monitor the integration of new features or systems into the production environment and provide post‑deployment support.
  • Maintain a constant focus on delivering value within the clearing and settlement space, ensuring solutions align with operational needs and industry standards.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and validating business and functional requirements in IT‑driven projects.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including operations, compliance, architecture, and development.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of understanding complex financial processes and transforming them into IT requirements.
  • Experience in clearing house, settlement, or related post‑trade domains is a strong asset.
  • Comfortable working in structured delivery environments (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Waterfall).
Technical Skills and Experience
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, ideally within regulated or financial institutions.
  • Solid experience in IT delivery projects, from requirement solicitation to go‑live support.
  • Strong proficiency in business analysis techniques: BPMN, UML, Story Mapping, Use Cases.
  • Understanding of ISO messaging standards (e.g., ISO15022, ISO20022).
  • Exposure to testing activities, including functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ALM systems.
