Job summary

soweloconsulting is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to own the native client experience, bridging Swift with on-device and cloud-based ML. This Europe-based role is fully remote, offering ownership and visible impact.

You will build high-performance iOS apps with Swift/SwiftUI, integrate AI features via backend APIs, design real-time interaction patterns, and collaborate with ML and backend teams to define architectures and ensure App Store quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional iOS development using Swift.
• Experience implementing AI-driven features in mobile apps.
• Advanced knowledge of Swift concurrency (async/await) and memory management.
• Design robust client experiences around network latency and model responses.
• Experience shipping consumer-facing apps in the App Store.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance native iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate intelligent features via backend APIs.
• Architect UX patterns for real-time interactions, streaming states, retries, and failure recovery.
• Profile and optimize app performance, battery usage, and memory management.
• Collect user telemetry to support model evaluation and iteration.
• Collaborate with ML and backend teams to define API contracts and architectures.
• Uphold production quality and App Store standards.
