Job summary

The Codest in Kraków is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join our hybrid team. You'll work on scalable Swift-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams through the full development lifecycle.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in iOS, strong Swift/SwiftUI, and a solid grasp of concurrency, testing, and security best practices. This role combines hands-on development with architectural input in a dynamic, product-focused environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial iOS development experience.
Advanced English in speaking and writing.
Strong knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI.
Experience with iOS architectural patterns and modular design.
Solid understanding of concurrency (GCD, OperationQueue, Modern Concurrency).
Experience writing unit and snapshot tests.
Good knowledge of Git and collaborative workflows.
Awareness of mobile security best practices.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality iOS apps with focus on performance and UX.
Collaborate with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to deliver features.
Ensure code quality via testing, debugging, and reviews.

Project Description

As part of the project, you’ll work with Swift and iOS frameworks to develop scalable, user-friendly solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the entire development lifecycle — from product design to deployment.

Please note: this is a hybrid position, you will be expected to come into the office 6 days per month overall (the office is located in Kraków).

Your Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality iOS applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience
Collaborate with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to deliver new features and improve existing solutions
Ensure application quality through testing, debugging, code reviews, and continuous optimization across iOS devices
Troubleshoot performance, integration, and functionality issues while maintaining clean, well-structured code
Contribute to architectural decisions, project estimation, and development planning
Follow modern iOS development best practices and stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends
