Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Warsaw is seeking an Associate Inventory Planner to support allocation and replenishment strategies for mid-level businesses, ensuring optimal store inventories aligned with the merchandise plan.

You will collaborate with AR Managers, Merchandise Planners and Buyers, build store plans, and monitor in-stock levels, while mentoring interns and trainees. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong Excel, and experience in allocations or planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3-5 years of experience, including 2+ years’ experience in merchandise allocations and/or planning.
• Advanced level Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, advanced formula calculations).
• JDA Allocations and/or E3 experience required.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Training experience required.
• Strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate bulk purchase orders using the Allocations system; place replenishment orders.
• Maintain proper inventory levels by store location to support sales, margins and turns.
• Collaborate with AR Manager and Buyers to identify allocation and replenishment strategies.
• Review in-stock reports and take actions to fix issues promptly.
• Guide item flow decisions based on ladder plans, forecasts, OTB, and ads schedules.
• Mentor Interns and Merchandise Trainees.
