Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Kraków is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our substation design team. The role offers hands-on experience in primary/secondary circuits of HV substations with a 20h/week schedule in a hybrid office setting.

You will work with senior engineers, assist in drawings and documentation, and contribute to project meetings while developing essential skills in electrical engineering and related software tools. English and Polish proficiency (B2) are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering areas such as P&C, SCADA and communication or primary substation equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with engineering software: AutoCAD, Zuken E3, Eplan P8.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; Polish and English (min. B2) required.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Intern to join our substation design team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in electrical engineering, specifically in the area of electrical engineering of primary/secondary circuits of HV substations. This role requires availability at least 20h per week and you must be able to work in hybrid mode from our office in Kraków.
