Job Summary
International Sales Engineer to collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to provide customers with tailored solutions for advanced multi‑antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking solutions. The role includes technical sales, demonstrations, and support. The position is 100% remote, based in Poland, and reports to the Director of Sales Engineering.
Role And Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post‑sales technical support, including system planning, customer training, and system optimization.
- Become an expert on Silvus’ unique radio and networking solutions and their advantages over competing technologies.
- Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
- Visit customer sites to provide technical support and conduct training.
- Troubleshoot failures and abnormal situations in the field.
- Collect and analyze field failures and abnormalities; provide feedback to the development team.
- Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support sales and business development activities.
- Help design engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems; help drive future product development.
- Perform other related duties as representative of the above.
- Travel up to 50% of the time for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2 years of pre‑ and post‑sales technical support experience, OR secondary education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent) with at least 6 years of such experience.
- Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
- Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing) is required.
- Must be based in Poland.
- Willingness to travel to potential conflict areas in support of radios.
- Background check clearance required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Experience with operating and testing IP radios/modems.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking.
- Knowledge of wireless communication systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.
- Exposure to and proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Polish (reading and writing).

- Trade shows.
- Outdoor environment for demonstrations.
- Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens during field tests.
- Lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for demonstration setup and testing.
