Job summary

IG Group in Kraków is looking for an Internal Auditor to join the Global Internal Audit team. You will plan, execute, and report on audits across multiple locations, collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen controls and governance.

The role requires prior Internal Audit experience in financial services and strong English. We offer a hybrid work model with office days and opportunities for professional development within a FTSE 100 fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Internal Audit experience in financial services is required.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, fieldwork and reporting on audits and regulatory reviews.
• Support and develop junior team members.
• Lead walkthroughs, identify risks and controls, and test design.
• Raise observations to IA and business leadership and assist in report writing.
• Manage issue and action closure.
• Build strong relationships with group-wide stakeholders for analytics delivery.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and communicate risks to management.

Your Team:

Internal Audit is a global team, split between London and Krakow covering our global business.

You will be working across multiple locations and working on various projects crucial to IG.

Your role in the Team's Success:

You will will assist with running complex audits and lead simpler audits globally

What you'll do:

• Lead planning, fieldwork and reporting on the plans simpler and regulatory reviews.
• Support and develop junior team members
• Support in complex audits by leading walkthroughs, identifying risks and controls, identifying and executing testing and testing approaches, raising observations to IA and business leadership, support in report writing
• Manage issue and action closure.
• Cultivate strong relationships with group-wide stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of analytics activities.
• Stay up to date with the latest regulatory, policy and procedural requirements, proactively identify risks and issues, and provide regular updates to management.
• Work closely with first line and second line and operational risk teams
