Job description

We are looking for an Installation Technician to join a major global laboratory equipment company.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for an entry level role or someone looking for a dynamic role.

  • Please note that this role involves international travel to clients' sites across Europe (approx. 80% of your working time)

Your role will be to work with multiple teams to configure robotic systems to meet customer installation specifications and then travel to that customer site for the installation.

How does the job look like
  • Performing electrical and mechanical assemblies using schematics, mechanical drawings and procedure
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical Issues - DC and AC voltages
  • Travelling for extended periods of time 2-3 weeks internationally, occasionally as much as 8 weeks for training in the U.S. when first hired
Your profile
  • Background as Electronic technician program or apprenticeship program, or 1 yea of electronics installation experience
  • Fluent English
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Knowledge of ERP and PLM is a plus, but not essential
  • EU Passport (For travelling and work purposes)
  • EU Driver's licence
  • Capable of lifting products up to 25kg
