About the Role
The Insights Analyst plays a critical role within the analytics team, transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making, product development, and enhanced user experiences.
This position requires a strong blend of technical analytics expertise, healthcare industry knowledge, project leadership capabilities, and the ability to effectively communicate findings across the organization.
Location: This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States or in a hybrid capacity from the Dublin, Ohio office.
What You'll Do (Essential Responsibilities)
- Mine complex healthcare data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that directly impact business outcomes and healthcare delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering, to understand business needs and develop analytical frameworks that support data-driven decision-making
- Design and implement analytics methodologies using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize key metrics and insights for internal stakeholders
- Ensure reports and dashboards are accessible, intuitive, and effective for decision-making purposes
- Promote the adoption of analytics and insights throughout the organization, fostering a culture of data literacy and informed decision-making
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and analytics best practices to continuously enhance team capabilities and business value
- Ensure all analytics practices comply with healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, including at least 2 years in an analyst role within the healthcare industry
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience analyzing healthcare claims data
- Experience leveraging generative AI tools for data analysis, coding, workflow automation, and insight development, with an understanding of responsible AI practices in healthcare environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business strategy and decision-making
- Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, create structure, and proactively drive initiatives forward
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including clinical, operational, and financial data domains
- Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis methodologies
- Understanding of healthcare data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA
- Strong personal accountability, integrity, and commitment to organizational values, ethics, and data privacy standards
- Ability to manage and protect company and member data in accordance with organizational policies, guidelines, and ethical standards
