Job description

As anInfrastructure Support Engineer, you will play a key role in our team, delivering specialized technical assistance to our company employees, including quantitative researchers, developers, etc. Your responsibilities will include advanced troubleshooting, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to maintain system performance and reliability.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Respond to employee requests via corporate communication platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related technical issues
  • Provide L2–L3 supportfor internal services and applications (SSO, LDAP, Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Manage integrations between corporate systems and ensure reliable data flows
  • Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS)
  • Oversee domains, DNS records, and SSL/TLS certificate management
  • Monitor infrastructure using observability tools: interpret metrics and alerts, investigate incidents, and take corrective actions
  • Support of Wi-Fi, corporate equipment, servers - remotely or on-site as needed
  • Perform proactive analysis of recurring or potential issues and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure upgrades and new solutions
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation, including technical procedures and user manuals

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support roles
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple issues simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems and general infrastructure services
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash is an advantage
