Sopra Steria is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to join our international delivery team in Poland. You will manage Oracle environments, ensure performance, and support migrations to cloud platforms. The role requires strong English and collaboration across multiple IT domains.
You will work in a two-shift schedule with on-call duties, located in Katowice or Gdańsk, Poland. EU citizenship and willingness to commute are required.

Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.
The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
We are part of an international shared services team delivering infrastructure and database support to multiple external clients, primarily in France and Germany. Our focus is on ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing database environments across various industries.
We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented Oracle Database Administrator who enjoys technical challenges, takes ownership of assigned activities, and is comfortable working in an international service delivery environment.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people with EU citizenship who are located in Poland and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice or Gdańsk, Poland
The position operates within a two-shift schedule: 08:00–16:00, 10:00–18:00,plus on-call duties outside of business hours on a rotational basis, including weekly and weekend shifts.
