Job summary

Toyota Motor Europe’s IT Digital Hub in Wrocław seeks a Graduate Infotainment Software Engineer to help design, develop, and validate frontend software for infotainment and cockpit platforms. Work in a modern embedded Linux environment across the full software lifecycle.

You will gain hands-on experience with automotive-grade technologies, collaborate with UX designers and test engineers, and contribute to customer-facing features that impact the driving experience. Hybrid 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Experience in frontend development for infotainment systems.
• Programming in Dart/Flutter, Java, C++, Rust, or Python.
• Knowledge of Linux and embedded environments.
• Experience with software testing concepts (unit/integration/functional).

Infotainment Software Engineer / Graduate

Within Toyota Motor Europe’s R&D Electronics Engineering division, the in-car software team is dedicated to advancing the development of multimedia & cockpit software. Our mission is to improve user experience and create innovative solutions towards achieving Software Defined Vehicles.

The team collaborates closely with other departments as well as the global Toyota organisation to ensure development of software from the advanced stage to mass production.

Role Summary:

As a graduate Infotainment Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of frontend software for Toyota’s latest infotainment and cockpit platforms. You will work in a modern embedded Linux environment and participate in the full software development lifecycle, gaining hands‑on experience with automotive‑grade technologies and processes.

This role offers an opportunity to grow technical expertise while contributing to customer‑facing features that directly impact the driving experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Prototype, develop, and maintain customer‑facing frontend applications for cockpit systems. Deliver readable, maintainable, and reusable software while considering performance, cybersecurity, safety, and privacy.
• Software Testing & Automation: Derive software test scenarios and test cases from requirements. Design and implement unit, integration, and automated functional tests based on software requirements.
• Test Execution & Analysis: Execute tests in development, SIL/HIL, test‑bench, and target environments. Analyse failures, investigate root causes, and resolve defects.
• Development Environment: Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of development tools, simulators and test benches that enable efficient software development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, test engineers, program management, and other development teams. Report project status, quality risks, and test results.
• Documentation: Maintain requirements, software designs, source‑code documentation, test cases, test results, and user guides.

• Starting date: Position available since December 2026
• Working Pattern: Hybrid 2 to 3 days per week in the office, in line with the need
• Reporting line: Manager / Team Lead

Qualifications & Skills:

• Language Skills: Fluent in English (TME business language).
• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong enthusiasm for the automotive industry and automotive systems.
• You have a passion for customer facing interaction and interface development.
• Hands‑on experience in developing frontend applications through internships, academic projects, or personal initiatives.
• Programming experience in one or more relevant languages, such as Dart/Flutter, Java, C++, Rust, or Python.
• Experience with software testing concepts such as unit testing, integration testing, functional testing and automated test execution.
• Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals and embedded environments.
• Core Competencies: Strong problem‑solving, logical thinking, and reporting skills
  

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for business (frequency to be discussed).
• Possession of a standard driving licence (Category B) or currently in the process of obtaining one.

What we can offer you:

• Depending on the candidate’s skills and experience, the base salary for this position will be in the range of PLN 9,000– 10,000 gross per month under a permanent employment contract (employment contract/UoP).
