Position Summary
This role focuses on executing adversary emulation activities to evaluate and strengthen enterprise security defenses. The position involves planning and carrying out Red Team, Purple Team, and simulation-based offensive security exercises, uncovering weaknesses across systems, networks, and applications, and demonstrating real-world attack scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Red Team engagements internal to FedEx
- Contribute to all phases of Breach & Attack Simulation and conduct Red/Purple Team exercises
- Develop engagement plans, emulate adversaries, and execute operations
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in various technologies
- Produce comprehensive reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences
- Effectively communicate findings and strategy with internal stakeholders
- Develop scripts, tools, or processes to enhance team capabilities
Requirements
- 4+ years commercial or government security operations experience
- Experience with coding/scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash, C/C++, C#
- In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of malware families and network attack vectors
- In-depth knowledge of exploitation, post‑exploitation, and attack tools
- Familiarity with network penetration tests
- Experience leading a team to conduct red‑team assessments following rules of engagement
- Preferred certifications: OSCP, GPEN, GXPN, OSWP, OSCE
- Effective collaboration with teams in remote offices and globally
