Job summary

Seargin is seeking an IT Security professional to manage ITGC audits, coordinate with control owners, and improve audit responses. You will support ongoing security oversight and act as the first line of defence for the security of our financial application portfolio.

Join our team to provide security throughout the application lifecycle, engage with vendors, and participate in security reviews and incident handling as part of a dynamic international firm.

Qualifications

• Experience as ITGC auditor or coordinating ITGC audits.
• Strong understanding of audit processes, documentation, and responses.
• Good grasp of IT concepts and technical environments.
• Experience supporting IT audits and security controls.
• Understanding of control frameworks, risk oversight, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage ITGC audits with control owners and clarify auditor questions.

Job description

• Manage ITGC audits with control owners, clarify auditor questions, identify documentation needs, and improve response quality
• INFOSEC Support
  • Provide day-to-day support for Information Security activities and assist with ongoing security oversight
• Application Security
  • Act as the first line of defence for the security of the organization’s financial application portfolio
• Lifecycle Security
  • Provide Information Security support throughout the application lifecycle, from implementation and operations to decommissioning
• Communicate with vendors, support vendor selection, and provide security-related recommendations to the business
• Application Reviews
  • Participate in application implementations, perform security reviews, and validate backup and restore processes
• Control Management
  • Maintain the control matrix and support internal and external audits
• Work with Application and Service Owners on incidents, failures, and risks while focusing on monitoring and security oversight

Requirements

• ITGC Auditing
  • Experience working as an ITGC auditor or coordinating ITGC audits
• Audit Management
  • Strong understanding of audit processes, including control owner coordination, documentation, auditor queries, and response improvement
• Technical Mindset
  • Good understanding of IT concepts and technical environments without requiring highly advanced technical expertise
• IT Audits
  • Experience participating in or supporting technical IT audits
• Security Knowledge
  • Understanding of Information Security principles and security controls within enterprise application environments
• Application Security
  • Experience supporting application security throughout implementation, operations, and other lifecycle stages
• Understanding of control frameworks, risk oversight, control matrices, and audit requirements
• Stakeholder Management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with auditors, control owners, vendors, Service Managers, and business stakeholders
