Job summary

QVC Group Global Business Services is seeking a Privacy & Data Governance Analyst to strengthen governance of personal data across the business. You will maintain data maps, support privacy initiatives, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure regulatory alignment and internal standards.

The role is hybrid, requiring on-site days in Kraków (Wielicka 30) 3 to 5 times per month, with opportunities to influence privacy strategies across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT, Compliance, Data Management, Data Privacy, IT support, or a related field.
• Understanding of privacy principles, regulations, and good governance practices.
• Interest in developing expertise in privacy and regulatory landscape.
• Familiarity with privacy-by-design concepts and their use in tech, systems, or cloud environments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confidence to take ownership and influence stakeholders.
• Very good written and verbal English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio).
• Experience with privacy management tools (e.g., TrustArc) would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain data maps covering systems and processes involving personal data.
• Lead or support discussions with business stakeholders to collect and document data processing information.
• Collaborate with IT, Information Security, eCommerce, Analytics/Marketing, Legal, and People teams.
• Support privacy and information governance projects including rights compliance and data verification.
• Identify and document retention requirements across systems and processes.
• Improve governance processes, controls, and documentation.
• Support team and local office tasks as needed.

Join QVC Group’s Information Governance team and help shape how personal data is managed across, US, Italy, Germany, Japan, UK and China. As an Privacy & Data Governance Analyst you will play an important role in supporting privacy compliance and strengthening governance processes across the business. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to maintain and improve data maps, support privacy-related initiatives, and help ensure that personal data is handled in line with internal standards and regulatory expectations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across functions, combining analytical thinking with stakeholder collaboration, and building expertise in a growing privacy and governance environment.

Where You'll Work

• This role is hybrid and will require you to be on-site at our office on Wielicka 30 in Kraków 3 to 5 times per month. (On-site days are predetermined and standard across the company)

What You'll Do

• Develop, update, and maintain company data maps covering systems and business processes involving personal data
• Lead or support discussions with business stakeholders to collect, validate, and document data processing information
• Work closely with teams across IT, Information Security, eCommerce, Analytics/Marketing, Legal, and People
• Support privacy and information governance projects, including privacy rights compliance and data verification activities
• Help identify and document retention requirements across systems and business processes
• Look for opportunities to improve governance processes, controls, and documentation
• Support additional team, administrative, and local office tasks when needed

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in IT, Compliance, Data Management, Data Privacy, IT support, or a related field
• Understanding of privacy principles, regulations, and good governance practices
• Interest in developing your expertise in privacy and the changing regulatory landscape
• Familiarity with privacy-by-design concepts and their use in technology, systems, or cloud-based environments
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Confidence to take ownership of tasks, support initiatives, and influence stakeholders when needed
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Outlook, Excel and Visio
• Experience with TrustArc or similar privacy management tools would be an asset
