For our client, a global manufacturing company, we are looking for a skilled mid-senior In-house Lawyer to be a right hand of the General Counsel at HQ.

In-house Lawyer with German

We are seeking an In-house Lawyer fluent in German to join our team.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree from an EU-accredited law school is mandatory,
  • At least 2 years of experience working in-house or at a law firm,
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory,
  • Working knowledge of Spanish is desirable,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders,
  • Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, assertive team player, attentive to details,
  • Resilience, willingness to gain experience in new fields of law.
Responsibilities
  • Advise the business on a broad range of legal matters including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, employment, data privacy, and regulatory issues,
  • Draft, negotiate, and review general terms of business and commercial agreements with clients, suppliers, and other partners,
  • Handle claims and disputes; supervise external legal counsel,
  • Provide legal advice on applicable laws and regulations,
  • Contribute to drafting and implementing corporate and compliance policies (e.g., GDPR, Whistleblowing, Anti-corruption, International sanctions, Competition law),
  • Provide internal compliance training to key stakeholders,
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
