Solenis has also been recognized as a US Best Managed Company for three consecutive years.We are currently looking for an **Import & Export Execution Specialist** to join our international team.This is a hybrid position based in Warsaw, Poland, with an expectation to work from the office 3 days per week.As an Import & Export Execution Specialist , you will act as the central point of contact for export shipments and documentation, ensuring smooth coordination of export orders and maintaining communication across multiple internal and external stakeholders.## Key Responsibilities* Execute and coordinate international import and export shipments in accordance with Global Trade Management (GTM) processes and governance standards.* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, dangerous goods regulations, and company policies.* Manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, transport documents, and other trade-related documentation.* Monitor shipment execution and proactively resolve transportation, customs, and documentation issues.* Collaborate with logistics providers, customs brokers, 4PL partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless shipment execution.* Maintain accurate shipment, transportation, and trade compliance data within SAP and related systems.* Apply Incoterms correctly and ensure proper allocation of responsibilities, risks, and costs throughout the shipment lifecycle.* Support trade compliance activities and ensure adherence to import/export regulations.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to transportation, customs, and GTM processes.* Handle customer complaints and shipment exceptions while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.## Skills & Qualifications### Required* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.* Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations, international logistics, or trade execution.* Solid understanding of Incoterms and their practical application in international trade.* Experience coordinating export and/or import shipments in a structured, process-driven environment.* Experience working with SAP (preferably SAP ERP/SAP R3) or similar enterprise systems.* Knowledge of international trade compliance requirements, customs processes, and shipping documentation.* Strong process-oriented mindset with the ability to follow and execute standardized procedures.* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across international teams.* Fluent English (written and spoken)### Preferred* Experience within the chemical industry or another highly regulated environment.* Knowledge of ADR, dangerous goods transportation, and compliance-driven logistics processes.* Experience working with Global Trade Management (GTM) processes and governance.* Additional European language skills.* Experience working with 4PL providers and international transportation networks.## What Success Looks Like* Strong understanding of import/export execution processes.* Confidence in applying Incoterms and trade compliance principles.* Ability to work within defined GTM governance and operational frameworks.* Proactive ownership of shipment execution and issue resolution.* A compliance-first mindset while balancing customer service and operational efficiency.* Interest in international trade, logistics excellence, and continuous process improvement.## Why Join Solenis?At Solenis, you will work in a global and collaborative environment where you can grow professionally, develop your skills, and contribute to meaningful solutions for customers around the world.We look forward to hearing from you!### Why work here?At Solenis, we understand that our greatest asset is our people.
