Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking to advance your career in accounting? Join our dynamic Team in Gdańsk as a IC Junior Accountant, where you will play a supporting role in checking IC transaction in units responsible (using IC CUBE tool).
Responsibilities
- Confirming IC balances
- Issuing internal non-goods invoices
- Preparing and submitting clearing journals
- Managing account payable accounting according to Hempel rules, including cost allocation, calculation and posting of non-PO invoices and PO invoices
- Detailed reviewing of correctness of posting (i.e. cost centers, business units, VAT codes) prior to month close
- Monthly reviewing of open transactions on internal vendor accounts, contact with Local Finance, Logistic or Customer Care and acting to clear all outstanding balances
- Monthly and accurate AP-GL reconciliations, accruals posting, currency revaluations
- At least quarterly reviewing of open transactions on internal vendor accounts, contact with related departments and take needed action to clear all outstanding balances
- Ad-hoc reporting as required
- Regular process documentation update
- Performing relevant controls (ex. Impero controls)
- Assist in internal and external audit
- Participate in projects assigned by superiors
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related area (could be in progress)
- Professional certifications will be seen as an asset
- Previous finance experience would be an asset (not required)
- Good command of the English language (min. B2)
- Second language is seen as an asset
- Knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
