Job Summary

We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to join a team of professionals dedicated to performing remedial investigations including groundwater monitoring well installation and sampling, other water/media sampling.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Applicant must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, in the field of hydrology, hydrogeology, or geology.
  • Applicant must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in hydrogeology.
  • Experience should also broadly include groundwater hydrology field application, site remediation, risk assessment, water quality monitoring and environmental clean-up technology.
  • The experience should include aspects of groundwater sampling, artificial recharge applications, an understanding of solute transport modelling and an understanding of RCRA and CERCLA regulations.
  • The applicant must have an understanding of the sampling methods in environmental media, surface water, groundwater, sediment and soil.
  • Applicant must have a demonstrated ability to develop effective and concise reports and presentations (verbal and written) that are understandable to a senior management audience. The position requires an individual with excellent oral and written communications skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure in an uncertain environment and with changing schedules.
