Job summary

DFDS Poland & Hungary in Poznań is offering an Accounting Student Assistant role in the Record-to-Report (RtR) department. You will support daily accounting and financial reporting activities while gaining hands-on experience in a global finance environment.

The role involves helping with month-end closing, data analysis, and process improvements. You will work closely with a multinational team, ideal for students studying Finance, Accounting or Economics, with good English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Available to work approximately 35 hours per week.
• Starting internship on 2 November 2026.
• Studying Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficient in English and Polish (min B2).
• Strong logical thinking and data analysis.
• Solid MS Excel knowledge.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Sense of humor appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end closing activities (journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations).
• Validate and analyze financial data to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support intercompany invoicing and costing processes.
• Help improve and streamline accounting and financial reporting procedures.
• Update internal financial documentation.
• Participate in finance projects to optimize departmental processes.
