Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Linux & Database) to ensure stability and performance of transactional systems. You will work across Linux, databases, and automation tools, investigating incidents and delivering high-quality services in a dynamic environment.

Requirements include ~4 years of relevant experience, strong Linux CLI skills, and proficiency with SQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL. Bash/Python scripting and basic Kubernetes knowledge are expected, with occasional office

Qualifications

4 years of experience in a similar role supporting transactional systems.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux with command line.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL and writing complex queries.
Scripting in Bash or Python.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like GCP.

Responsibilities

Monitor, support, and maintain transactional systems for stability and performance.
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and operational issues.
Work with Linux environments and CLI to support daily operations.
Analyze and manage data in relational databases and run complex queries.
Develop and use Bash or Python scripts to automate processes.
Support containerized and cloud-based environments including Kubernetes.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
