Job summary

Kingfisher plc is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to join their Software Engineering team in Kraków. This hybrid role involves driving quality engineering initiatives and collaborating closely with engineers to embed quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include shaping the testing strategy, creating automated tests, and supporting CI/CD efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong backend test automation experience, especially in Java and Kotlin, as well as a deep understanding of API testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in backend test automation using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Proven experience in API testing with RESTful services.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and CI/CD integration.
