Roche Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Junior Custom Software Developer focused on execution, learning, and growth within data platforms. You will deliver tasks on schedule, flag blockers proactively, and apply foundational software and data engineering skills while expanding your technical expertise.

You will learn to operate with Agile principles, handle basic data pipelines, and work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in office in Poznań or Warsaw. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Eager to learn and grow within the software engineering and/or data engineering domains, with a focus on executing tasks based on established procedures.
• Basic understanding of DevOps and/or DataOps principles.
• Familiarity with software validation and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Core Programming: proficiency in Python/Django, Java/Spring, or JavaScript frameworks.
• Software Engineering: exposure to frontend, backend, or full-stack concepts.
• Databases & Data Storage: familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases, basic SQL queries; Snowflake exposure is a plus.
• Data Engineering: basic grasp of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Cloud Basics & Architecture: exposure to core AWS services (S3/IAM); data lakes concepts.
• Code Quality: basic testing and maintainable coding practices.
• Interpersonal: highly collaborative with strong communication; proactive in resolving blockers.
