Job summary

AbbVie in Kraków is seeking an Indirect Tax Accounting Analyst who will prepare, review, and file indirect tax returns and related reports across multiple jurisdictions.

You will liaise with external providers and Tax Centre of Excellence, support audits, and help improve processes while working in a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) with a competitive bonus and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with accounting or tax orientation.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in an international environment (pharma a plus).
• Fluent English is required.
• Knowledge of the European VAT framework.
• Strong Excel and SAP skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for countries in scope and submissions to Tax Authorities.
• Provide support for tax audits and inquiries from various jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with third-party providers and Tax Centre of Excellence.
• Follow up on missing information and perform checks per due dates.
• Update tax process documentation and drive improvements.
