Job summary

State Street Corporation in Kraków is seeking an IMA Accountant to handle daily accounting tasks and process client instructions efficiently. The role interfaces with internal units and external clients, resolving discrepancies and supporting reconciliations and client administration.

You will work in a hybrid model, cooperate with Senior IMA Accountants and Managers, and contribute to training and development while improving processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• PC literate and competent in use of spreadsheets, word processing and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of fund administration would be useful but not essential.
• Good level of English.
• Fluent Italian spoken and written.
• Analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Process client instructions and investigate exceptions.
• Manage inheritance and pledges within client accounts.
• Set up and maintain client/mandate reference data.
• Complete IMA accountant checklist per procedures and ensure timelines are met.
• Participate in departmental ad-hoc projects and training of staff.
• Provide guidance and documentation for process improvements.
