Job summary

ITConnect in Warsaw is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Java Developer for the Cards Service Domain to Design, build, and sustain internet-facing Commercial Cards applications, focusing on security, performance, and reliability.

You will collaborate in an Agile team, craft microservices with Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and cloud-native tooling, contribute to CI/CD, and apply secure coding practices while exploring AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Full Stack Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Angular and Angular Material.
• Experience with Kafka, SQL databases, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins) and Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of secure coding and OWASP principles.
• Ability to test changes and troubleshoot.
• Willingness to explore AI tools and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams to deliver business value.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, incidents, and production issues.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities from SAST, container scanning, and other assessments.
• Drive secure coding practices and improve application security.
