Job summary

Arrive, a global mobility platform, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Operational Finance team in Łódź. You will own the end-to-end development of backend services using Java/Kotlin (Spring) with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, dbt, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, REST, and JavaScript.

Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable financial platform solutions. You will drive architecture, write thorough tests, participate in on-call duties, and influence engineering practices

Qualifications

• Backend development with Java/Kotlin (Spring) in microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and dbt for data management.
• DevOps, IaC, Docker/Kubernetes/AWS experience.
• Strong testing: unit/integration/e2e; BDD principles.
• RESTful APIs and database migrations (Flyway/Liquibase).
• Excellent English communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex backend logic and enhance solutions for evolving requirements.
• Collaborate across Arrive to build cohesive, scalable products.
• Own full development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Ensure platform stability, on-call support, and incident troubleshooting.
• Reduce technical debt and promote engineering best practices.
