Job summary

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer (Embedded Linux Security Platform) in Gdańsk, Poland. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on developing a common hardware platform for multiple product families, integrating Linux-based security solutions.

You will work with Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, Cybersecurity, Verification, Compliance, and Manufacturing to deliver secure, scalable hardware that meets stringent security requirements including EN 50131 Grade 3.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic product development.
• Experience designing mixed-signal electronic circuits.
• Experience creating schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer or similar EDA tool.
• Understanding of processor-based embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware for embedded Linux-based security products.
• Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Participate in component selection and qualification activities.
• Assist with integration of processors, DDR memory, eMMC/Flash, interfaces, and power management.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and system integration.
