Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our Hybrid Krakow team. You will lead deployment strategies, automate CI/CD, and collaborate with software and cloud ops to drive reliability and scale.

You’ll apply extensive AWS and Linux expertise, manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker, and mentor peers while promoting best practices across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of work experience.
• AWS knowledge with EC2, RDS, Route53, SES, SNS, SQS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, ALB, NLB, ECR, EKS, ES.
• Solid Linux administration knowledge including scripting.
• Strong CI/CD / CD principles and automation experience.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with configuration management/automation tools.
• Terraform/Terragrunt as IaC.
• Version control with Git and SVN.
• Jenkins experience including Jenkins DSL.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.

Responsibilities

• Propose systems/framework enhancements and toolset improvements.
• Help create strategy for systems/solutions development.
• Create and lead deployment strategy implementations.
• Assist team members with solving complex issues.
• Develop CI/CD frameworks to automate code development and deployment.
• Maintain pre-production systems and engineering toolset.
• Enhance monitoring, logging and provisioning solutions.
• Work with cloud-based solutions on day-to-day tasks.
• Promote best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineering and cloud operations teams.
