Job summary

EY GDS Poland in Katowice is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Consultant to deliver secure solutions on Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. You will assess risks, design policies, and guide clients on cloud security best practices across multi-country engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT / CS / Engineering / Cybersecurity / Information Systems or related
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS platforms
• At least 4 years hands-on experience with compute, storage, networking or security in Azure or AWS
• Experience designing solutions in Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of cloud security services like Key Vault, firewalls, NSGs, policies, Entra ID, AWS IAM
• Security automation using Terraform, Packer and Github
• Willingness to focus on security of apps and services in Azure or AWS
• Excellent communication for external client discussions
• Ability to recommend security controls and best practices to clients
• Consistently deliver high-quality work on time and on budget
• Fluent or native English (C1/CAE preferred)
• AI proficiency at business and personal level (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT)

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments in Azure and AWS to identify risks and vulnerabilities
• Design and implement security policies, procedures and best practices in cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure cloud solutions
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security including IAM, networks and threat detection
• Plan cloud adoption and migration
• Lead trainings and workshops on cloud security for clients
• Assist in developing security frameworks and compliance strategies (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
• Stay updated on cloud security trends, threats and regulatory requirements
• Build strong client relationships and tailor security solutions to client needs
