Job summary

LGC Standards is seeking an Accounting Specialist to implement company policies in finance and accounting. You will manage general accounting records, prepare invoices, settle payables, reconcile accounts, and support month-/year-end closings and tax returns.

The role requires strong Excel, good Polish accounting knowledge, English proficiency, and the ability to work independently within a hybrid, full-time pattern. Relevant ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Good knowledge of Polish accounting regulations.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial data.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently with deadlines.
• Experience with IFS or Symfonia ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in general ledger per the Accounting Act.
• Prepare source documents, cash documents, invoices as required by the Accounting Act.
• Timely settlement of payables and other obligations.
• Reconcile balances with customers and suppliers; perform balance confirmations.
• Support month-end and year-end closings and reporting.
• Prepare tax returns and statistical reports.
• Coordinate with Sales and external accounting providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with QMS ISO 9001.
