Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers. Currently we are looking a HR Specialist to support our US colleagues from Cracow office. Due to collaboration with U.S.-based teams, a typical workday begin around 10–11 AM CET.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resource (HR) Specialist provides comprehensive administrative support to the North America HR team. This role is responsible for managing employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data changes, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality within the HR Information System (HRIS). The HR Specialist plays a key role in HR operations, supporting time tracking systems, audit compliance, and acting as a liaison for employee inquiries and administrative tasks.

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Accurately maintain employee records in the HRIS system (SAP HR).
  • Process data entry requests including new hires, organizational changes, and separations.
  • Collaborate with Global HR Administrators and HR Specialists to ensure consistent and accurate data management.

Employee Lifecycle Administration

  • Prepare HR documentation including contracts, amendments, agreements, and awards.
  • Manage administrative processes related to employee entry, exit, and internal changes (e.g., checklists, system forms, coordination with IT).
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including setting up feedback reviews and exit interviews.
  • Draft and distribute interim and final employment confirmations and references.
  • Provide administrative support to employees, new hires, and line managers.
  • Collaborate closely with the North America HR Business Partner (HRBP) team.

Onboarding Coordination

  • Organize and lead monthly onboarding sessions.
  • Support the planning and execution of quarterly onboarding events.

HR Tools & Document Management

  • Support the upkeep and functionality of HR systems, primarily SAP HR.
  • Ensure complete and accurate maintenance of employee records in both digital and physical formats.

Projects & Process Support

  • Assist with document collection and background support for internal and external audits (e.g., SOX, statutory audits, TÜV).
  • Contribute to the annual performance management and compensation processes, including tracking activities, coordinating calibration sessions, and generating letters and reports.
  • Participate in projects aligned with North America HRBP and Payroll objectives.

General Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the HR team.
  • Support event and training coordination, and assist in the creation of reports, templates, and presentations.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Prior experience in HR operations or administrative support in a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to support U.S. colleagues starting work at 10-11 am CET.
  • Proven experience supporting HR functions in the United States labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with U.S. payroll processes, benefits administration, and employee relations would be a plus
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and structured in approach.
  • Reliable, service-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn.
