Job summary

Solid Company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to develop mechanical frames and supporting structures for high-mobility platforms. You will create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs, and support structural analysis, prototypes, and tests on aerospace-grade projects.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in mechanical or structural design, a degree in mechanical engineering, and proficiency with Siemens NX, Creo, CATIA, or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical or structural design.
• Proven ability to design mechanical frames and structures.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD software and engineering drawing standards.
• English at B2 level or higher; Polish C2 is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve mechanical frames and supporting structures for high-mobility platforms
• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Support structural analysis, prototype builds, and engineering tests
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve design issues

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical or structural design
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with Siemens NX, Creo, CATIA, or SolidWorks
• Good understanding of materials, mechanical loads, and manufacturing processes
• English at B2 level or higher
• Fluent Polish language skills (C2) mandatory

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile platforms, defense vehicles, or aerospace structures
• Knowledge of FEA tools, structural testing, and GD&T
