V2X, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair military and civilian wheeled equipment.

You will work with a team of mechanics and radar technicians to troubleshoot malfunctions, rebuild components, and test equipment in field and shop environments. Candidates should have at least three years of experience, be capable of handling heavy duty maintenance, and comply with safety and security requirements, including CAC and a valid driver’s license.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in wheeled equipment maintenance or equivalent.
• Must be proficient in servicing, troubleshooting and repairing military and civilian wheeled equipment.
• Must be familiar with the use of electronic technical manuals.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License.
• Must be able to secure and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) within three months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wheeled vehicles and trailers equipment.
• Inspects, tests, and operates wheeled equipment to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation.
• Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air, disassembles and reassembles malfunctioning accessories and components.
• Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstall components and accessories.
• Disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations.
• Assists Radar Technicians as required with installation, maintenance and repair of Radar systems as needed with training and direction provided.
