Job summary

Intuition Machines, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Director to lead and scale highly technical teams focused on online security and machine learning products.

You will bridge product, engineering, customers, and sales to deliver secure, observable systems while maintaining fast development velocity. The role requires deep domain knowledge in distributed systems and security, with hands-on experience in Python, NodeJS, and Go or Rust.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading engineering teams of 20–60 people in security or ML.
• Strong experience with high availability and secure development practices.
• Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, and Go or Rust.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with DevOps and large-scale internet-facing systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, motivate, lead, and manage highly technical teams focused on delivering online security and ML products at scale.
• Act as a liaison between product, engineering, customers, and sales to articulate requirements and translate solutions into useful products.
• Maintain high software quality standards while sustaining development velocity and availability.
• Define, drive and govern automation and instrumentation to ensure observability and automated break-fix.
• Model go-to-market strategies with sales and product teams, oversee architecture, and improve delivery.
• Put in place effective hiring and onboarding strategies.
