Responsibilities
  • Sets vision and quality standards for design output across the team.
  • Oversees team performance and career growth through 1:1s, and check-ins.
  • Leads hiring, onboarding, and operational setup for new team members.
  • Manages resource planning, tool and license needs, and training budgets.
  • Handles cross-team escalations, investigates root causes, and implements strategic solutions.
  • Participates in high-level client meetings, offering strategic design recommendations.
  • Ensures accurate and compliant reporting across all tools and stakeholders.
  • Acts as a strategic partner to other departments, sharing insights and aligning processes.
  • Advocates for design excellence and innovation across the company.
  • Leads process optimization, automation projects, documentation of best practices, and team knowledge management.
Qualifications
  • 5+years of experience in design (social media, websites, e-commerce, adaptation of print and digital materials)documented in the portfolio.
  • Expert-level use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma); adept at setting standards, ensuring team proficiency, and managing automation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage design teams, ensuring consistency and scalability in project execution.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in photo manipulation and/or illustrations.
  • Good to excellent command of the English language in both speaking and writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage in discussions with clients and establish effective communication.
  • Skilled in working with brand books to effectively apply brand guidelines, with a keen eye for detail to identify inconsistencies and ensure a highly accurate and conscientious work approach.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and possess a can-do spirit.
