Saily is seeking a seasoned Data Analytics leader to own the data function across analytics, modeling, and pipelines. You will lead the Data Analytics team, set priorities, and define standards for how data is modeled, stored, and consumed.

You will own end-to-end data architecture and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to translate needs into a robust data strategy. You will make data accessible for humans and AI, shape the analytics tooling, and drive data quality and

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience across Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar data-focused roles, with 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on background in data modeling and schema design, including dimensional modelling, semantic layers, metrics, entities, and relationships.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and modern data architecture; able to own the technical direction.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with modern analytical data stacks.
• Experience owning a data or analytics function, architecture, or major part of one.
• Experience leading Data Analysts / Analytics Engineers, setting priorities and developing the team.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and leadership.
• Strong product and business thinking; understand data meaning and its impact on decisions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable building from scratch and owning beyond own area.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Data function at Saily across analytics, modeling, and data pipelines.
• Lead the Data Analytics team, setting priorities, direction, and standards.
• Own data architecture end-to-end—from raw data to clean models and insights.

• Act as main data contact across Saily and standardize data use across teams.
• Set data quality, documentation, governance, and reliability standards.
• Build and grow the Data team as the company expands.

What you’ll do

• Own the Data function at Saily across analytics, modeling, and data pipelines.
• Lead the Data Analytics team, setting priorities, direction, and standards for how the team operates.
• Own our data architecture end-to-end - from raw data and pipelines to clean analytical models and business insights.
• Define how data is modeled and structured across Saily, including schemas, semantic layers, metrics, entities, and relationships.
• Make our data easy to understand and use - both for people and AI.
• Own and evolve our analytics infrastructure and tooling.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to understand their needs and turn them into a clear data strategy.
• Act as the main point of contact for data across Saily, bringing consistency to how different teams define, access, and use it.
• Set standards around data quality, documentation, governance, and reliability.
• Build and shape the Data team as Saily continues to grow.

Skills you’ll bring to the table

• 10+ years of experience across Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar data-focused roles, out of which 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on background in data modeling and schema design, including dimensional modeling, semantic layers, metrics, entities, and relationships.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and modern data architecture - you don't necessarily need to be the person building every pipeline, but you should be able to own the technical direction.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience working with modern analytical data stacks.
• Experience owning a data or analytics function, architecture, or major part of one.
• Experience leading Data Analysts / Analytics Engineers, setting priorities, and developing the team.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working directly with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and business leadership.
• Strong product and business thinking - you understand what the data means, why it matters, and how it should influence decisions.
• An entrepreneurial mindset - you're comfortable building things from scratch, making decisions with incomplete information, and taking ownership beyond your immediate area.
