Job summary

Cleeng is seeking a highly skilled frontend engineer to lead production-level React/TypeScript work. You will own the agent harness for frontend, configure instructions and subagents, and drive tickets end-to-end while mentoring teammates in a remote-first, agile setup.

You will join an international team with offices in Amsterdam, Poznan, Manila and NYC, helping shape subscriber management technology with a strong focus on quality, security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Experience configuring agent harnesses and CI checks.
• Clear written communication and autonomy in a remote-first, agile team; English at C1.
• Ownership of features from ticket to production with quality and reliability mindset.
• Technical leadership without needing a manager title; mentoring and setting standards.
• Ability to work in a remote-first, agile environment with strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ship code yourself — hands-on React and TypeScript; take real tickets and drive them with agents.
• Own the frontend harness for Claude Code and OpenCode configuration, agent instructions, subagents, MCP servers and hooks.
• Raise the team’s agentic ceiling by improving docs, conventions, tests and tooling.
• Maintain correctness, design quality and security of the code merged by the team; set review standards.
• Own frontend scope: sprint commitments, estimates and trade-offs between speed and quality.
• Lead group days-to-day: 1:1s, standups, unblock; avoid heavy process.
• Own what you ship: launch dashboards and alerts; monitor operational health.
• Handover from Lead Frontend Engineer before leave and back on return.
• Flexible working hours and form of employment.
• Work with international team across Amsterdam, Poznan, Manila, NYC.
• Shaping the future of subscriber management technology with ownership mindset.
